Hotel Lobby AI Character Swap: Roles and Likeness Fixes

Troubleshoot reversed roles, mixed identities and weak likeness in a Hotel Lobby AI character swap, with checks to make before submitting another generation.

If a Hotel Lobby AI character swap looks wrong, first identify what changes and when. A reversed cast at the opening is different from an identity that changes halfway through a turn. Neither a sharper output nor a new photo guarantees a fix, so inspect the completed clip before deciding to spend credits on another attempt.

Check the opening, movement and ending

Compare three moments with your uploaded photos: the starting frame, a turn or gesture, and the ending. Note which performer is affected and whether the issue persists. Keep the references and the result together so you can describe the problem accurately.

The template reference shows the preset scene. It is not proof of the likeness your own generation will achieve.

Both people are in the wrong starting roles

Check upload order. Photo 1 maps to the original performer who starts on the viewer's left, and Photo 2 maps to the performer who starts on the right. If you intended the opposite casting, exchange the two photos before a new submission.

The assignment tracks the original performer through movement. Do not judge the role only by where someone stands later in the clip. The character-swap guide explains that distinction.

A face changes or seems to blend with the other character

Check whether either reference contains more than one person, a partly hidden face, or very little facial detail. Prepare a clearer single-subject image if necessary. If the references are already clear, the problem may still be a limitation of the generated movement rather than a mistake in your upload.

A higher resolution produces a different output-quality setting; it is not a guaranteed cure for identity drift. Read the displayed credit cost before choosing it. For reference preparation, see how to choose character photos.

The face is recognizable but the outfit changes

Look at the information available in the reference. A tight face crop gives little evidence about clothing. If clothing is central to your idea, use an image that includes the intended outfit while retaining a visible face.

The current interface has two image slots and a quality choice, with no separate clothing prompt. Character replacement can reinterpret appearance. It does not promise frame-by-frame reproduction of every accessory or garment.

The download has audio but the lips do not match perfectly

The workflow adds source audio during finishing. Keeping that recording and generating matching mouth movement are separate steps, so audio presence does not guarantee precise lip synchronization.

Watch the video with sound before publishing. If you later replace audio in an editor, check the timing again. The editing guide covers layout, captions and a final review.

Decide between retrying and reporting a technical problem

For a completed clip with weak likeness, try a specific reference improvement only if you want another attempt; it consumes the displayed credits. For a failed task, missing result or download problem, record the task ID, quality setting and what you observed, then contact support@hotellobbyai.app. Do not repeatedly submit the same task to test a download issue.

Before another request, return to the generator, inspect both image previews and check the account balance. A clearer reference may help, but repeated generation is not a guaranteed repair.
